How much sleep do we need to stay healthy?
An adult needs to sleep for 7-9 hours per night to stay healthy. Anyway, an individual's healthy sleep pattern depends on genetics and lifestyle. Even 6 hours of sleep can be enough for some people. Most New Zealanders go to bed at 11:30 PM at wake up at 7 in the morning.
Which country sleeps the least?
The Japanese also wake up at 7 AM, but they go to bed only at 12:50 AM.
Where do the earliest risers live?
The citizens of South Africa are the earliest risers, anyway, most of them manage to get 7 hours of sleep per night.
Where do people get up late in the morning?

The quality of sleep
The quality of sleep depends not only on its duration. If your sleep is interrupted all the time, your body doesn't recover properly. The time you get up and go to bed also plays an important role, as well as your level of physical activity during the day. Among the countries surveyed, Slovaks have the best sleep quality.
Best wake-up mood
People from the Middle East, Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia sleep latest on Thursdays.
How well do you sleep? Sleeping habits of which country surprised you the most? Do you have any specific sleep pattern?
